Simply U Yoga & Pilates would like to acknowledge the Galibal people of Bundjalung, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we meet and practice. We pay our deepest respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging, and honour their long-standing connection to this land, its waterways, and its culture.

As we come together in our practices, we recognise the deep wisdom that has been passed down through generations of First Nations peoples. We are grateful for their ongoing care and stewardship of this sacred land and are committed to walking gently on it, in the spirit of respect and harmony.

This quote has as much impact on me today as it did when I first came across it many years ago. It's a beautiful reminder to be still and drop into presence. It emphasises somewhat of a life mantra and philosophy that I lean into when I feel lost. A gentle reminder to let go of control and lean into flow state; 'Creativity'. Creativity is not just a hobby but rather a way of living that connects me back to who I am, how I wish to express myself and impact into the world around me.

This Group session allows you to immerse yourself into a yoga practice with the energy and camaraderie of a familiar group setting! Perfect for offices, sporting teams, school classes or friends to come together and learn something new, improve team culture, build trust and connect with each other through movement and breathwork. I supply the mats and props - just arrive and enjoy!

"I am NOT flexible enough to do Yoga"

Why do we feel we need to be good at something before we start? 

Can you name one other skill you have mastered before you have even learned how to do it properly? Interesting....

However, if you do have any limitations, conditions, are pregnant, have an injury or are still recovering from an injury; please chat with the teacher before your class or book a private session so that they can work closely with you and design something specific for your needs.

What Do I Need to Bring to a Class?

​If you have your own mat you can bring it to classes or if you don't, no sweat you can come to either of our locations and borrow a mat. Bring with you a drink/water bottle and a sweat/gym towel (optional), Wear comfortable attire for stretching and movement, no shoes are worn during classes (unless needed for therapeutic/support specifically). Warmer layers may be beneficial for relaxation/meditation part of classes in cooler months.

What Are the Benefits of Yoga & Pilates?

All movement is positive. Research is now showing that low impact  movement done more consistently over extended periods of our lives is key in preventing Cancer and other health related conditions/diseases. Not only does yoga and pilates improve your physical health and flexibility but it also positively effects your sleep, digestion, stress levels, posture, strength, ageing, mood, blood pressure, hormones and (among so much more)!

How Much is a Class and How Do I Pay?

There is a direct debit membership option for unlimited classes weekly for $30/wk or you can speak to the teacher about setting up regular monthly invoices.

You can buy a 10 x class pass - $180, concession/student and senior pass is $160 

A single adult class is $20, and you can pay online before you come, in cash/card in class or set up an EFT directly online.
